Amplify builds playable 2D games for the browser from a text description. The art direction, sprites, backdrops, code and testing happen in one pipeline, and the game can have an optional 3D backdrop. Game UI and text are always in English.
How a game is made
Describe. Write what you want. The engine plans the game, its controls and its art direction.
Art direction. A style memory fixes palette, mood and rules, so backgrounds, characters and props look like one game.
Art and code. The engine paints the sprites and backdrops and writes real TypeScript you can export and own.
Automatic playtest. A headless browser plays the game on desktop and phone, looks for crashes, overlapping controls and low frame rates, and fixes what it finds before you get the build.
What you get
A playable 2D game with touch controls and leaderboards.
Source code you own, as a ZIP with a build script and README.
Publishing on the web, as a Telegram Mini App, and packaged for itch.io.
A history for every generated asset (prompt, model and cost) and a spending cap on every build.
Examples
FUTHARK 2D (a nine-night Norse survival game) and Rune Cascade (a match-3 rune puzzle) were built with the same engine. Play them: FUTHARK 2D and Rune Cascade, or browse the games section.
Good to know
Quality varies between builds, and every build is checked by the automatic playtest, which finds many but not all problems. A standard build uses 6 credits; see pricing.
